How to Use your Stamparatus to Stamp Your Sentiment Straight

It never fails…

You stamp this beautiful card.  As you put the final touches on it, you stamp a touching sentiment on the inside.  You don't want to cut it out and pop it up because its the inside of the card and that might look funny.  So you go to stamp your sentiment with a clear mounted stamp and wah lah!…. the stamp comes out crooked and now you have ruined your card.

Why does the sentiment come out crooked?

I know I have a terrible time stamping straight with clear mounted stamps because no matter how hard you try, you can never get the sticker that goes with the stamp on exactly in the right place to tell you that you are stamping straight.  And when you want to recreate this sentiment on several cards, you will always get the sentiment not quite right, thus wasting even more paper. Ugh… I get it. Been there done that…. several times.

Use the grids on the positioning plates

Well in comes the stamparatus stamp positioning tool. At first I didn't realize, the plastic plates that you stick your stamps on has a grid built right into it.

Yeah I just positioned the stamp approximately where I wanted it to be on my paper.  Then picked it up with the positioning plate.  Turned it over and made a slight adjustment, using the built in grid to make sure the sentiment would stamp straight. Check out the video to get more detailed instructions.
