Fun Foiled Card

Today I have an awesome technique using Maker Forte's pattern paper and toner card stock.

Card instructions

Maker Forte has some amazing pattern paper that you can foil! You can foil anything that is printed with a laser printer and lays down toner. The foil will adhere to that toner.

I absolutely love this paper that says “You Are Amazing”! and thought it would look great if it was foiled. So I used Deco Foil's Pink Melon foil transfer sheet for this card. I placed the transfer sheet on top of the pattern paper with the shiny foil faced up and ran it through the laminator.

It is hard to see in this image, but the outlined letters are super shiny and it looks “amazing”… pun intended! Then I wanted to add the word sentiment “Happy Birthday”. I absolutely love the word die here from PinkFresh Studio and it comes with a halo die.

I used the Maker Forte Toner Sheet and die cut the halo. Since the toner sheet is completely black with toner, I was then able to foil the halo.

I diecut the word 3 times and glued them stacked together, and glue them to the foiled halo.

I popped up the “happy birthday” with some foam dots.
