Electronic Craft Cutting Machines

I love to use all types of tools to create cards and crafts.  And using electronic craft cutting machines are great for just that!  Here are some of the cutting machines and accessories I recommend!

This post contains some affiliate links for your convenience (which means if you make a purchase after clicking a link I will earn a small commission but it won’t cost you a penny more)! The income I make helps me with the expenses of this blog. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

Silhouette Cameo

This is the electronic craft cutting machine that I currently own. I bought it about 3 years ago and choose it because at the time, it had more capabilities than the Cricut.  I'm thinking about investing in a Cricut sometime in the future, though… as you can see down below, Cricut has really upped their game when it comes to flexibility and options on their cutting machines.

Training

These cutting machines do have a learning curve to them.  One thing that I found difficult in the beginning was how to design the cut file or how to change an existing cut file to my own liking.  Jennifer Maker has an excellent course on how to create and design SVG files (otherwise known as cut files) called A Cut Above.  I believe her course is closed at the moment, but you can click here to get on the waiting list.  I think she even send you a freebie for signing up! In the meantime, you can watch a replay of one of her webinars here.
