Blogging Black Friday Deals

Want access to my Resource Library? Fill out this form and I will send you the password!

I'm sure you have been bombarded with Black Friday emails and promos all week. I know I have. I'm always on the hunt for a good deal!

But when it comes to blogging resouces, I am timid about spending money on products I don't know work. I usually look to other successful bloggers to help me determine what is working for them and see if I think it will be worth it to me.

I wanted to share with you some resources that I use in my every day business as a blogger and the deals that are going on right now that might help you save money and grow your business.

This post contains some affiliate links for your convenience (which means if you make a purchase after clicking a link I will earn a small commission but it won’t cost you a penny more)! I only recommend products I truly love. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

#1 Recommended Blogging Resource

I would say the ABSOLUTE number one thing you need to grow with your online blogging business is an email list. I started out with a handful of email subscribers and grew to over 5300 in 2 years. And I totally credit what I learned with Jennifer Maker and her List Love Master course.

Below is a picture of my Converkit account showing the grow of my email list over the past 2 and half years. I'm pretty proud of all the hard work

I would recommend this course to anyone who is serious about getting started in building an online business. Without an email list, you have no one really to market to, except the few people how may stumble onto your website.

Jennifer is having an incredible Black Friday sale. Get 35% off all of her courses, which you can view here, but her List Love is the course I recommend you start off with. You will need to use the promocode BLACKFRIDAY35.

Email Management System is key to a blogger's success

Before you can dive into Jennifer's List Love course, you will need an email provider. And I recommend ConvertKit. It is what I use and it is also what Jennifer recommends. They have a free option to get you started.

Where to host your website?

The next resource I think you should consider is who you are hosting your blog website on. I use Site Ground and absolutely love them! The have some awesome Black Fridays going on right now too… You can get started with your website for only $3.49 a month, which is a 75% discount. HUGE savings!!

What's next?

If you are well on your way, and you already have your blog set up and have a steady stream of email subscribers (at least 1000 subscribers), you may want to consider whats next.

For me that was to sell my own products. I chose to sell card making classes as my own products. The platform I decided to teach on is Teachable. They are having an awesome Black Friday Sale now too….

This platform is so easy to work with and I was able to create my first class within a day and launched it to my audience and the world. My first class had 24 sign ups in 24 hours! I have had over 1000 enroll in my classes over the past 11 months, and it continues to grow each day.

Below is a snap shot of my revenue for this year.

So in short, Here are the 4 resources I suggest all bloggers look into when they are getting started out and as they move further into their business.

  • Site Ground to host your website
  • Convertkit to manage your email list
  • Love List to learn how to grow your email list
  • Teachable to sell your own courses, printables. or other digital content.
