Best Way to Clean Up Embossing Powder

Embossing powder can be messy

I have been obsessed with creating cards with embossing powder.  And have looked at all of the youtube videos on how to use embossing powder and how to store it.  I even made a video here on what I think it the best way to store embossing powder.  But what I haven't seen much of is how to easily clean your work surface from that grit that gets everywhere even if you try to clean it up as best as you can.  When you run your hands over your work surface you always feel it.  And it gets on your cards that you are working on….. the grit is everywhere!!

Well I saw one video on youtube that showed using a swiffer duster and I thought wow that is genius! I am not sure why I didn't think of it sooner! I could have saved myself alot of headache!  Ya see, I usually use baby wipes or a disinfecting wipes but that always leaves my work surface wet, so I have to wait before I can put paper down to work with.  And if you are under a time crunch thats just not time you have… especially after each application.

I found that the swiffer handles alot more than dirt and dust from your household…. it picks up the very fine grit of embossing powder like a champ!  Check out my latest video that I posted when I came to that revelation!

Here's the link where you can find the swiffer I purchased from amazon. The one in the video is an older model but the one linked here works just the same.

What kinds of cleaning tools do you use in your craft area?
